How We Work — Our Peace of Mind Plan

Before we schedule anything, we talk. Not a sales call. An assessment. You tell us what's going on — what you need, what you're worried about, what you've been told by other contractors. We listen. Then we walk through your home and your panel, and we tell you what we find.

Section 1.0 — The Peace of Mind Plan · 5 steps

From first call to a system you forget about.

  1. 1

    Comprehensive Assessment

We evaluate your current electrical system — panel capacity, circuit load, service entrance condition, and any existing backup power equipment. We ask about your daily usage patterns, your plans (new EV? ADU? home office?), and your concerns.

Then we explain what we found. Not a technical report. A plain-language walkthrough. What's working. What needs attention now. What can wait. We don't start the sales conversation until you understand what you're looking at.

The assessment is free. No obligation. No pressure.

  2. 2

    Customized Solution Design

Based on the assessment, we create a plan that's specific to your home, your load, and your goals — not a menu of options pulled from a price sheet.

We show you exactly what we're recommending and why. We include all costs upfront — materials, labor, permits, utility fees. We explain any available rebates, tax credits, or financing options that apply to your situation.

What you see in the design proposal is what you pay. No change-order surprises after the work starts.

  3. 3

    Professional Installation

Our licensed technicians (CSLB #938027) handle every permit application, every utility coordination form, and every inspection scheduling call. You don't manage that paperwork.

We install with minimal disruption to your household. For a typical panel upgrade, you'll be without power for 4–6 hours. For a generator installation, we stage the work so your home is never left unprotected overnight.

Every installation meets or exceeds California electrical code. The permit and the inspection aren't a formality — they're proof the work was done right.

  4. 4

    Education & Empowerment

When the work is done, we don't hand you a receipt and leave. We walk through every new system — how to operate your generator, what the automatic transfer switch does and when, how to read your panel's new breaker layout, what the maintenance schedule looks like.

You get documentation: warranty cards registered in your name, permit and inspection records, the manufacturer's manual annotated with the specific settings we used for your installation. A year from now, if you have a question, you'll know where to look.

  5. 5

    Ongoing Support

A standby generator needs annual maintenance. A transfer switch needs testing. An aging panel in a growing household needs periodic reassessment as loads change.

We stay available. Preventive maintenance scheduling for generators and transfer switches. A direct line if something unexpected happens. Updates when we become aware of technology changes or rebate programs that affect your system.

The goal isn't a one-time installation. It's a home that's electrically prepared for whatever California throws at it — this fire season and the next one.
